Adorable Coen was born at Kennestone Hospital in Cobb County weighing 7lbs 4oz! He came in for his newborn pictures today and he was so sweet for us. At first he was wide awake and didn't want to miss a thing but once he settled down he posed perfectly and rocked his session. Some of my favorites from today are below! Adorable Emersyn came from Cumming Georgia for her newborn pictures today! She was born at Northside Hospital Forsyth 14 days ago weighing 7 pounds! She was PERFECTION for us! Adorable Xyana was born 9 days ago at Eastside Hospital in Snellville weighing 6lbs 1oz. Im so excited for this sweet family for baby number two AND a girl!! Mommy loves all things pink and girlie just like me so I had fun planning for her session. Almost one year ago sweet Baker came to see us for his newborn pictures. He was seriously the sweetest and I wanted to keep him for real! He was born with a cleft palate and has had quite the journey to get to where he is today. His doctors at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta have done such a great job and his sweet little mouth looks so good after several surgeries. I loved seeing this family today and capturing Bakers one year milestone. His Mom and Dad wrote more about his journey below. No one can say it quite like they can, so here it is... Baker's Story:At 18 weeks, during a scheduled sonogram, it was discovered that our bundle of joy would start his life with a few complications. We were informed that he might have a possible cleft lip and we were referred to a specialist for further testing. During the advanced testing it was confirmed Baker did have a left cleft lip but it appeared the hard palate was intact and not an issue. Unfortunately, with the limitations of even the most advanced medical equipment available, we would not know the full extent of the cleft until he was born. We were sad, worried, and confused as to why us?! We performed every possible fetal genetic test available and all of the tests came back negative for any chromosomal defects.
