Adorable Shanaya came from Peachtree Corners to have her newborn pictures taken today. She was born at Gwinnett Medical in Lawrenceville and weighed 7lbs 1oz. She was wide awake for a good portion of our session because she didn't want to miss a thing! Lol! I love all the colorful set ups we did today. Some of my favorites are below! Sweet Qasim-Abbas was born 7 days ago at Northside Hospital in Dunwoody. He was born weighing 4lbs 12oz and was so tiny! He came to have his newborn pictures taken with us today and we captured so many beautiful images of him. He definitely made us work for every single one of them! Haha! Our second day of newborn mentoring with Mary went great! We worked more on composites, editing and Mary got to help pose and perfect the baby, working on the little details.We had two beautiful girls in the studio today to model for us. This morning Miss Bryce came in and then we had Siya in the afternoon. Both girls were SO sweet and we captured so many gorgeous images of them. Sneak peeks below!! Mary from Mary Bosotu Photography came all the way from Washington DC to learn more about newborn photography from us. We went over our posing workflow, safety, calming baby techniques, putting props together, editing, composition, studio lighting and much more.We welcomed beautiful Parker and Saturn in the studio today to model for us. Parker was not much for sleeping and although we weren't able to do much posing with her we were able to show our student how to get those beautiful open eyed shots that everyone loves so much. Adorable Jiya was born 17 days ago at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. She had a bit of a stay in the NICU but she is doing well and gaining weight. She came from Brookhaven to have her newborn pictures taken and I adored her! She had a beautiful head of hair and she gave us a huge smile! It was so great meeting this sweet family today.
